The KIPON BAVEYES PL > PL 0.7x Adapter is designed to reduce the focal length of a lens by the factor 0.7x. The light transmission is increased by one stop. The innovativ optical design which consists of 13 lenses in 12 groups ensures low distortion and maximum imaging accuracy. The adapter takes PL or LPL mount lenses by default and allows light passing through to a maximum T-Stop of T1.5 set on the attached cine lens. The resulting T-Stop is up to T1.1 and the image can cover sensor sizes up to 36mm diagonal.

The adapter reduces the image circle of the attached lens by a factor of 0.7. For example, it reduces the image circle of a full frame lens to fit the S35 format, or it reduces the image circle of a S35 lens to fit the S16 format This allows for greater versatility in using various lens types on different camera formats without sacrificing image quality.
